Want to get your friends into the action in Humankind, but do not know how? Read this article to learn how you can play this game with friends in multiplayer.

Humankind is a fun strategy game that can be an even more exciting experience with friends in multiplayer. In this article, we will show you how you can get your friends to join in on the action too!

How to Play With Friends (Multiplayer) in Humankind?

To play Humankind with friends in multiplayer, all you will need to do is click on the Play icon located on the top left side of your screen. You will find this icon in the main menu of the game. Once you click on the Play icon, you will be shown a list of different options. The multiplayer option will be one among them. Clicking on this option will open up the multiplayer menu. Here, you will be presented with the opportunity to choose from an array of different multiplayer matches.

If you wish to play only with your friends in a private match, you will need to host your own game or have one of your friends host the match for you. To do so, you will first have to click on New Game. You will find this option upon clicking on Play in the main menu of Humankind.

If you are the creator of the multiplayer match, you will need to share the lobby identification (ID) with your teammates. Likewise, if one of your friends creates a game, they will need to give you the lobby ID. You will be pleased to know that you have the freedom to play with a maximum of 8 players, and a minimum of 2.

While such multiplayer games can tend to last for quite a long period of time, you can adjust the session timings accordingly. Only the host will be able to make such modifications to the match before it begins.

This is how you can play Humankind with your friends in multiplayer. As you can see, it is quite a simple process that barely takes up any time. If you’re enjoying Humankind with your best friends, make sure to also check out our  Humankind guides.

Titus D'souza

Nope, Titus isn't as serious as this picture implies. Began calling himself a gamer after burning his eyes out playing Road Rash as a kid. Somehow manages to get headshot in a game of Counter Strike even before a round begins. Oh, and he's also a photographer.
