In order to get Huckleberry Catalyst, you are required to play and complete the Heroic Adventures on both Mercury and Mars. Since it has a very low drop rate, you might need to grind these missions for a bit. If you have three Guardians in the game, you will be able to run a Heroic adventure on each one once per day, increasing your chances of obtaining it.
After getting the Huckleberry Catalyst, you will need to get 500 kills to get it activated. Once activated, you will have the Ambitious Assasin perk on the weapon, which will add ammunition to the magazine depending on kills.
