Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is designed around chaos and battles, and as such you will spend a lot of time battling other characters in the game, you can use different types of moves and special attacks to take down enemies which will help you get a slight advantage. There are so many moves to select from that it can really put you in a dilemma wondering which to use in a battle, there is though one attack that will really turn the battle in your favor and its called Super Finish. How to use Super Finish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Remember the Dragon Ball Z series, where at the end of intense battles most characters would obliterate their opponents by blasting them off with such a powerful move that it would have planet shattering abilities.
Moves that finish battles like Goku’s massive Kamehameha, these moves are called Super Finishes and you can use them too but there are certain conditions that you have to meet before you start blasting enemies off.
First of all, you will need to unlock the Super Saiyan transformation, this stage comes at the end of the Frieza Saga, without going Super Saiyan you cannot generate this much power.
To be able to use a Super Finish, you will need to transform into the Super Saiyan mode, only a few characters have this ability so make sure that you have either of these characters Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Gotenks, and Vegito. You will need to unlock their Super Saiyan mode beforehand.
After this you will have to enter Surge, this should give you a temporary buff to all your stats, to ender Surge mode you will have to fill the Tension gauge next to the character portrait. Once you have done this all you need to do is hold Y on Xbox One and Triangle on PS4 until your Ki bar is full and then a bit more to enter Surge mode.
To use a Super Finish all you have to keep in mind is the fact that your enemy is below one health bar. If the conditions favor you then you can hold L1 on PS4 and LB on Xbox One and then press a face button. This will completely drain out your opponent and end the battle in your favor.
You will see a crazy animation play out as soon as you use your Super Finish but Dragon Ball Z is built upon these immensely powerful characters and being able to use them at their full potential really makes it more enjoyable.
