How To Use Dropbox To Sell Items In Animal Crossing New Horizons

Published Date :

Drop Boxes in Animal Crossing New Horizons are a place where you can sell you items even after Nook’s Cranny is closed, this is a great way to get rid of things you do not need but there are a few things you need to consider before you go down this path. This guide will show you how to use the dropbox in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

How To Use Dropbox In Animal Crossing New Horizons

Drop Boxes are useful to sell off things that you could not within the working hours of the marketplace, however, there is a 20% deduction if you wish to sell off your items after the closure of the market.

This does not matter much, but if you keep on doing this a lot you will miss out on a lot of Bells that you could earn only if you could reach the Nook’s Cranny during the business hours.

Nook’s Cranny is open from 8 AM to 10 PM, anything beyond this will have to be taken to the dropbox. Luckily the dropbox is open all the time, so if you are looking for a little bit of damage to your sale, you can choose the dropbox.

To find the dropbox, all you have to do is reach Nook’s Cranny and you will find it right outside. You will need to keep in mind that even if you have a Hot Item of the day, it will sell for the regular price in the dropbox.

It is advisable to not sell your Hot Item of the day to the dropbox. Once you do drop items in the dropbox, you cannot get them back, so if you happen to sell something it is final and you won’t be able to get it back.

The sale amount of Bells will be delivered to your bank account the following day, you will get a call from Timmy and Tommy, and they will notify you of the Bells you earned for selling the items in the dropbox.

That’s all you have to know about the dropbox in Animal Crossing New Horizons, make sure that you use it to sell things you don’t really need and keep your pockets empty.
