Don Corneo’s Secret Stash is a quest that unlocks in Chapter 14 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The objective is to find three Corneo’s Vault that has hidden gems. These gems later will be delivered to the Land Lady – Marley. The quest is a little complicated to complete because of different vault locations as well as there are integrated sub-quest attached to the main goal. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Secret Stash: How to Complete Don Corneo’s Secret Stash Quest
The quest is long and divided into various objectives. Below are the locations of people, whom you have to talk with and items required to reach the final stash.
Find Damon – Daily Buzz Journalist
To unlock Don Corneo’s Secret Stash Quest talk to Damon, Journalist of The Daily Buzz in Sector 5 Slum Area. Talk to him to start the quest.
Talk to Mireille & Corneo’s Note Location:
The next objective is to go to Angel of the Slum Hideout. Find and talk to Mireille. She is an old lady, follow the above map screenshot to meet her. On her back there is another marker, interact to collect Corneo Vault Note. This is an essential item to progress further in completing Corneo’s Secret Stash Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Corneo’s Vault Note has clues to find Corneo’s secret stash. There are three locations hidden in the clues.
- Steel Mountains in the Sector 5 Slums.
- The former disposal area in the sewers.
- The caved-in tunnel on the collapsed expressway.
Talk to Johnny
To find Johnny head towards the Undercity Station, or check the map location. Talk to him and he will ask you to retrieve his money, stolen by a girl.
Find Kyrie
You will have to help crying Johnny, go to the Church and talk to Kyrie. A girl near the flowers wearing a blue hat. To get money from Kyrie you will have to deal with Shinra.
Fight Special Match in Corneo Colosseum
Go to Corneo Colosseum located in Sector 6 Slums and talk to the Gatekeeper. Use the lift to access the lobby area where you will find the gatekeeper. Talk to him and select Special Match. Defeat Beastmaster and a two-headed Hellhound. Talk to the Gatekeeper one more time to see the option “Return of Kyrie”. This completes Tomboy Bandit Quest, you will get the following items.
- Coreno’s Vault Key
- Johnny’s Wallet
Corneo’s Vault 1 Location – Collect Ruby Tiara
Go to Corneo’s Vault which is located in the Steel Mountain region of Sector 5 Slum area. The key you got from Kyrie will unlock the gates of the Vault region. Look for golden dragon carved on a red sign on the gates. You will be in a region with tanks, there are lots of boxes and vaults on the ground. Open each of them to collect Ruby Tiara.
Corneo’s Vault 2 Location – Collect Diamond Tiara
Walk to Sam’s Delivery Services, a little far from the Vault 1 Location. There is a tunnel on the left of Sam’s Delivery Services, it will take you towards the debris. A completely crashed place, continue walking and crouch below the boulders. Turn left and you will spot second Corneo’s vault. Collect Diamond Tiara.
Corneo’s Vault 3 Location – Collect Emerald Tiara
For the last vault, you will have to go to Sector 9 Slums. At the extreme south end side of the map follow the above screenshot to reach a Chinese palace. Find Leslie, he is in the bedroom, take stairs from the hall after crossing two doors. Follow him in the Underground Waterway. Continue playing until you reach retrieve an item from a weird creature in the waterway. After the final cutscene where you will see his backstory, Leslie will ask you to follow him to a shortcut.
This is where the final part of Corneo’s Vault quest begins. Continue to follow Leslie until you see him climbing stairs. Wait there and interact with the lever to unlock a door. Follow the location marked on the map in the above FF7 Remake screenshot, fight some monsters to clear the area. There are two vaults similar to the first one attached to the ground. Interact to collect Emerald Tiara.
Return to the Land Lady Marle, and talk to her to complete the final piece of Corneo’s Vault puzzle in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
