How to tie up Sligs in Oddworld: Soulstorm?

Sligs can hinder your progress in Oddworld: Soulstorm. We’ll help you get past them.

Soulstorm follows Abe’s journey in leading the movement and releasing the enslaved Mudokons. The quest is filled with puzzles that take the death toll to new heights. Abe and his fellow Mudokons must pass through Sligs as they make their way to the Glukkons. The Slig work for the Gukkon and guard the Moolah Gates. The Sligs are going to attack Abe or the Mudoks as soon as they see them. Sligs can add to player’s frustration by taking the already high death count even higher, which is where we step in to help you get rid of the Sligs quickly.

How to tie up the Sligs?

Oddworld: Soulstorm Tape Location/A really efficient way to deal with Sligs is to tie them up before they come after you. To tie up the Sligs, you’ll need tape, which in the initial stages of the game has to be taken from the Sligs themselves. The tape can only be taken from the Sligs when they’re asleep or under Abe’s mind control. Once near a sleeping Slig, hold the square button to grab it, and if you’re lucky, you might find other resources as well. With tape in your inventory, you can get past the annoying Sligs without having to kill them.

Sneak up on a Slig and hold the square button, and Abe will tie up the Sligs into a large ball of tape. You can go through their resources after they are tied up in case you haven’t already explored their pockets. Once bound, Sligs cannot harm Abe or his Mudokon companions.

Tying the Sligs helps players get past the levels more quickly. Considering how often players might have to repeat levels, this trick will help them move to other levels faster. The Oddworld franchise is famous for its puzzles, so players should get their hands on as many resources as possible to craft items that might help them get through these tricky levels.
