As soon as you grab the Medal Case you will unlock the first quest of Guardian Games. The first one is The Game Begins. - Equip the Class item before starting the quest.
- Kill the enemies with abilities to farm Laurel.

Return to Eva after completing the quest where you will see an additional item in the menu called Contender Cards. Pick three casual and two in-game Contender Cards to start farming the medals. You will have to complete objectives in these cards you will earn medals are rewards. There are higher chances of getting better medals via in-game Contender Cards. Also, complete Guardian Games Triumphs to earn more medals in Destiny 2.
