Persona 5 Strikers: How To Save Game

Updated Date :

How to save your game in Persona 5 Strikers is the question on player’s minds because it is quite a lengthy game. For clarity, the main story of P5S is more than 37 hours long while the completionist will take 54.5 hours to get through the entire game. This is why saving your progress is important. Unfortunately, there is no autosave in this game which is why we’ve created this guide to help you. Here’s how to save game in Persona 5 Strikers (P5S) and exit without worrying about losing progress.

How to Save Game in Persona 5 Strikers?

There are two ‘worlds’ in this game – the Real world and the Metaverse (Jails/Dungeons).

How to Save in Jails

While you are in the Jails, you have to get to a Checkpoint to save your progress. It will be indicated by a C on the map and you can reach and interact with them when you complete a portion of the Jail. Only then will you be able to save your game while you are in the Jail section. If you wish, you can also save when you enter a dungeon.

How to Save in the Real World

When you are in the real world, though, you can save progress as soon as you see the prompt to ‘save’ your game. It will be shown in the bottom right part of the game screen. The control to save game in P5S is the X button on the Switch, Y on Xbox and Triangle on PlayStation to save in Persona 5 Strikers.

Luckily, you can save at any point whenever you are in the overworld part of the game but there is one exception – you cannot save while there’s a conversation going on. So wait until the chat is over and save your game.

If you are worried about not being able to save while in the Jail areas, rest assured that the checkpoints are placed in a way that it will benefit you. In case you feel that the difficulty is too high, you can switch up the difficulty level and lower it (except the Merciless one).

So, despite not having the autosave option in P5S, you can save your game by interacting with the blue checkpoints in Jails and by saving at any time while you are in the Real world. Once saved, you can exit your game without worrying about losing your progress.

It is indeed a bit annoying that you aren’t able to save at any time while you are in the Metaverse but that’s what gives it a good challenge. Speaking of challenges, here are some other Persona 5 Strikers guides that you can check out in the game to progress faster:
