Green herbs are very easy to identify and they are openly available at various spots. During the start after leaving Carlos in the train follow way outside, and you will find some items. Some gun powder cans and green herbs, that are planted inside a pot. Red herbs are mostly inside a box. On the same place on the left side, there is a wooden crate with yellow tape on it. Shoot and you will find a Red Herb in it. Once you have both green and red herb here is what you have to do to craft health-restoring consumable.
High Potency Mixture: Restores a small amount of health.

Maximum Potency Mixture: Restores full health.
- 3x Green Herb
- 1x Green Herb + 1x Red Herb
For High Potency Mixture go to inventory and combine two green herbs. For Max Potency Mixture you will need three herbs or a single Green and single Red herb. Combining this will give you a consumable that restores health, so focus on crafting High Potency Mixture and set it them on a quick access key. For example, on PS4 you can place it on one of the D-pad buttons. Another way to restore full health is by using First Aid Spray. It is also found in various locations, a white bottle that restores Jill’s health completely. No need to pick herbs and craft potency mixture.
How to check Jill’s Health?
Where exactly is Jill’s health meter? It is not displayed on the screen. When Jill is attacked you will see, she is unable to move fast. She is walking like an injured person. Go to the inventory and look on the left side, if Jill’s health is 100% you will see Fine. If she is about to die then you will see Caution. This is the time you have to consume the herbs. From inventory choose the herb and from the right menu select Use.
