In The Finals, you have three classes that you can play as, these are: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Each class gets a unique set of weapons and gadgets that you can experiment with. However, to unlock those guns or equipment you will first need to get yourself plenty of VRs.
VRs is the in-game currency of The Finals that you earn as you play. There is another one known as Multi Bucks which is the premium currency used for buying cosmetic items and more. However, let us not digress, here is what you need to know about the VRs system in order to earn it fast.
How to Earn VRs Fast in The Finals
You need to play The Finals more to get VRs. Allow me to elaborate, there are ways to optimize it a bit, but the core of the method comes down to it. So basically, you will have to grind a lot if you want to unlock everything.
You might think that getting more kills or stealing more cashouts may help you get more VRs but sadly that doesn’t seem to be the case. I suggest you check out this Steam thread where players have noticed that VRs gained in matches seems to be random and there are all sorts of speculations around it. As of now, you can expect to earn anywhere around 70 to 140 VRs per match. Winning a match also helps get more VRs, the difference isn’t that big but it helps.
However, if you are looking for some extra VRs in the early portion of the game then you should focus on leveling up your Career level. At level 5 several players have noticed you get around 1000 VRs or more. In order to do that, focus on completing daily and weekly contracts. These are basically the missions that give you Exp.
How to Use VRs in The Finals
As mentioned above, the VRs you earn can be used to unlock new guns. I suggest you check our dedicated guide for it, but here is a quick summary of how it works:
- Go to Equipment and select the build for which you want the equipment.
- Now, select the gun or gadget, press the Unlock button, and spend the needed VRs.
That’s all on how you can get VRs fast in this game. For more help on other such topics don’t forget to check out our The Finals section.
