Miquella’s Haligtree in Elden Ring is a Legacy Dungeon that only is accessed through a Portal. To get there, you will need certain items as well as you will have to solve a puzzle. In this guide, I will show you how to get to Miquella’s Haligtree in Elden Ring.
How to Get to Miquella’s Haligtree in Elden Ring
Before we can get to Miquella’s Haligtree, we will have to first get to Ordina Lithurgical Town in the Consecrated Snowfield. This location is inaccessible as you will need the Haligtree Secret Medallion to activate the Grand Lift of Rold. The Haligtree Secret Medallion is comprised of two halves. The first one is obtained by talking to Albus, an NPC in the Village of Albinaurics. He will be disguised as a Pot on the path, Westward from the Site of Grace. Hit the Pot and he will be revealed as well as he will give the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right). That’s one half done, for the second half you will have to fight a Boss. That Boss being Commander Niall from Castle Sol. Once you defeat him, you can get to an area behind him. There you will be able to get the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left).
Now with both the pieces you will be able to activate the secret path in Grand Lift of Rold. It is located east of Lyndell, Capital City, past the Forbidden Lands. Once you get there, you will have to stand in a circle that will prompt you to Hoist the Secret Medallion. On doing this, you will activate the Lift and ascend to the top. Follow the Route and you get to a door. Open the Door and you have reached the Consecrated Snowfield. If you travel Northeast, across the river, you will get to Ordina Lithurgical Town. On the rooftops, there will be the Evergaol puzzle. You will have to solve the Puzzle that will break a seal to the Portal of Miquella’s Haligtree in Elden Ring.
How to Solve the Evergaol Puzzle in Elden Ring
Once you reach the Evergaol Puzzle portal, you will enter Evergaol. From there, you will be tasked to complete the puzzle amidst enemies like the shadow assassins & archers. The puzzle is pretty simple as there are 4 Big Lady Statues each holding a Candle. The Solution to the Puzzle is to light up all the Candles. The locations for each Statue are:
- Candle 1 is in the Central Square of Evergaol.
- Candle 2 is at the far west edge of the town. To access it, you will have to climb a ladder.
- Candle 3 is right next to you as you enter Evergaol. Although it’s on top, you will have to find a ladder that goes up to it.
- Candle 4 is at the position where an Archer is. You can take the ladder from Candle 3 and finish off the Archer. From there climb up the Tower and you will be able to lit the last Candle.
Once you solve the puzzle, you will get a prompt saying that the Seal has been broken. Exit the Evergaol from before and there will be a staircase near it. At the top is the Portal that will take you to Miquella’s Haligtree in Elden Ring. From here you will be able to explore the Treetops of Miquella’s Haligtree & get a lot of resources and some good Ashes of War.
