The Shamrock Rod is a limited event rod in Fisch that has a decent luck stat and a passive to give the fish a special mutation. You need to complete the Lucky Event 2025 quest to get your hands on it, and the event ends on March 22, 2025. Here’s everything you need to do to obtain it.
How to Get the Shamrock Rod in Fisch
You don’t have to spend any in-game money or Robux to get this fishing rod. You need to catch 5 limited fish which can be time-consuming because of their rarity—here are the details:
- Talk to Clover McRich, the NPC for the Lucky Event quest.
- He will tell you about catching Sunny O’Coin, Rowdy McCharm, Blarney McBreeze, Plumrick O’Luck, and O’Mango Goldgrin. These are his brothers who have been cursed and turned into fish.
- Every 10 minutes, a rainbow pool will spawn somewhere on the map and you must head over there quickly and start fishing.
- Each time catch and give a fish to Clover, a statue will be revealed and grant you rewards.
- When you put the fish in the pot, talk to Clover McRich and you will get the Shamrock Rod from him. Note that the rod is bugged at the time of writing—its passive is not working as expected. Hopefully, the developers fix this as soon as possible.
Shamrock Rod Stats
Here are the base stats of the Shamrock Rod:
- Lure Speed: 25%
- Luck: 150%
- Control: 0.15
- Resilience: 10%
- Max Kg: 5,000
While the Luck stat is okay, it mainly suffers in its Lure Speed, Resilience, and Max Kg stats. You can combat this by enchanting this rod with Hasty for +55% lure speed, Mystical for +45% Resilience or Herculean for +25,000 Max Kg.
However, even with an enchantment, it doesn’t stand as one of the best rods in the game. Once the passive is fixed, it can be used for catching fish (10% chance) with the Clover mutation which boosts its sell price by 4.5x. If you use the Lucky Bait, you have a chance of obtaining fish with the Blarney mutation which also gets a 4.5x value multiplier.
Despite being free, the Shamrock rod in Fisch definitely requires a buff.
