The Challenger’s Rod in Fisch has some great stats and a good passive that will help you catch valuable fish. The price tag, however, is hefty, and it’s located in a spot that needs some preparation. Here’s how to get the Challenger’s Rod and the best enchantments to boost it further.

How to Get the Challengers Rod in Fisch

The Challenger’s Rod is obtainable from the second layer of Mariana’s Veil (Challenger’s Deep) at the GPS location of 738, -3355, -1529. You can access it via your Submarine and you will need to upgrade it as well.

Here are the base stats:

  • Lure Speed: 80%
  • Luck: 110%
  • Control: 0.2
  • Resilience: 30%
  • Max Kg: Infinite kg

As you can tell, it has great stats overall and is definitely worth going for. It costs a whopping 2,500,000C$, so players will have to farm a lot of money by fishing at the best money-making spots.

Speaking of the passive, it grants +20% progress speed when you’re reeling in a fish, which can come in handy for those with high progress speed decreases. However, it doesn’t work on the Scylla and the Sea Leviathan.

When combined with the Blessed Song enchantment which gives a +40% progress speed increase, you can catch fish much faster. This isn’t very easy to get because you need to complete a quest to obtain it, so check out our linked guide to know more.

There are some more enchantments that can work well with this rod:

  • Clever: If you want to grind for XP and level up fast.
  • Steady: Provides +20% progress speed while reeling in a fish.
  • Piercing: This enchant stuns fish, making it easier to catch them.
  • Quantum or Abyssal: If money-making is your goal, these are the best choices.

That was all for this one! If you’d like to know more about the fishing rods in different locations including the Second Sea, head over to our Fisch guides here.
