Being a Dragon Ball game, you can unlock several Saiyan forms as you progress in Xenoverse 2. If you have watched or read Dragon Ball Super, you might want to transform your custom character into SSG. For those that don’t know, Super Saiyan God or simply the SSG form transforms your character into a godly state. Likewise, you can go through this transformation regardless of the Race you have chosen in the game. Once you have transformed into SSG, your attacks and combos will be more powerful. How to Get SSG in Xenoverse 2 (Super Saiyan God)
There are mainly three steps to unlock and get the Super Saiyan God (SSG) in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. These are as follows:
- Wish to become a Super Saiyan God from Shenron
- Max out Friendships with Dragon Ball Characters
- Talk to Beerus, the God of Destruction
So, let’s delve into the above steps in more detail:
Wish to Become a Super Saiyan God from Shenron
Similar to the lore, you have to gather 7 Dragon Balls to summon the Shenron in Xenoverse 2. For the players that don’t know, Shenron is a divine magical Dragon god that grants the wishes of all. Once you summon him, you will be prompted with several wishes to choose from. You simply need to scroll down to select the last wish – “I want to become a Super Saiyan God“.
Maxout Friendships with Dragon Ball Characters
Now, you will be prompted with a message to max out your friendships with 5 Dragon ball instructors. Similar to the Super series, you have to take the help of five characters to attain SSG in Xenoverse 2. These characters are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks, and Pan. The best way to max out your friendships with these characters is by grinding on previous story quests. You can head over to the Infinite History located at the Time Nest. Over there, select the quests that involve the above five characters. You can repeat the process repeatedly until you max out friendships with these characters.
Talk to Beerus, the God of Destruction
Once you have maxed out friendships with the characters, you have to find Lord Beerus. You can find him at Orange Star High School. As soon as you find the God of Destruction, Beerus, interact and talk to him. Finally, you will receive the power of Super Saiyan Gods once you have talked to him. But note that you cannot talk to Beerus Sama unless you have completed the Majin Buu Saga.
