There are plenty challenges laid out for you in the game and one of them is to get a shoulder to kill with you trusty Springfield rifle. This may seem strange but it is not that difficult.
To perform a shoulder aimed kill, all you need to do is slightly press R2 on the PS4 and RT on the Xbox One, pressing about halfway in, the player will automatically shoulder aim and once you have the target in your sights simply pull the trigger.
