To obtain the Moon Melon seed, head to the Blood Moon shop (next to the Wise Old Owl) and purchase it for 500,000₵.
What makes this seed rare is that not every night can be a Blood Moon night. There’s a 33% chance of a Night being Blood Moon so, it takes an average of 3 hours or three nights for a blood moon to appear. Even then, it’s not guaranteed that the Moon Melon seed will be in stock, so if it is, make sure to snag it quickly. It can also be purchased for 729 Robux.
The Moon Melon looks similar to the Dragon Fruit (color-wise)—it has a green stem and dark pink color. Because it’s multi-harvest, it can keep giving you fruits for more Sheckles.
Speaking of money, wait till the Moon Melon gets multiple stacks of mutations to boost its value a lot more. For instance, a Moon Melon with Frozen, Shocked, Celestial and Disco will give you thousands, if not millions, of in-game cash which can be used for gear shop purchases or rarer seeds.
