Kanto is one of the first regions introduced in the Pokemon Tv series as well as the game, and this is what set the standard for Pokemon. And this is what this throwback challenge is all about, reliving that nostalgia. Starting 1st May, you will notice the following changes in the game apart from the actual Challenge, that we shall discuss further later –
- You will find more Kanto league pokemon in the wild.
- Field Research will reward you with Kanto league pokemon.
- All 7 km eggs will hatch you either Eevee, Onix, Venonat, Machop, Lickitung, Lapras, Scyther,
- Pinsir, and Tangela.
- Special edition Charizard hats will be worn by all wild Pikachus.
- Rare Shiny Venomoths and Venonats are scattered in the wild and up for grabs.
How do you catch the Mewtwo?
Here is the most awaited answer – Mewtwo is the final reward for the Kanto Throwback Challenge 2020. So how do you go on winning this challenge? Easy, you have to finish the given tasks within the time limit of seven days – May 1st to May 8th. Here is the list of tasks, 3 in each level, that you need to finish. With each task comes a reward, and at the end of each level is a special reward. Fasten your seat belts and await the grand prize of the final level.
