How to Get Female Combee in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Published Date :

Evolving Pokemon is one of the key elements of Pokemon Sword and Shield and though some Pokemon have an easy evolution method, others can confuse and trouble you. This guide will show you how to get a Combee and evolve it into Vespiquen.

How to Get Female Combee in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Pokemon evolution is generally a straightforward task, but Combee and Vespiquen are a bit special in this category. They are a bit hard to evolve and if you do not know what exactly you are doing, the evolution will not be completed.

The best thing about Combee is the fact that it has a high spawn rate, at about 60% you can be sure that you will run into a Combee sooner than later but there is a condition to that.

Combee will only spawn during normal weather, so that means you will have to camp it out in Rolling Fields if the weather isn’t too good.

The best way to work around this is the weather isn’t clearing up is to change the time of the Nintendo Switch console and it will do the trick. Our testing has shown that if you change the date to 1st May you will most probably get favorable conditions.

If this still does not work or you do not wish to change the date/time of your device you can visit a Max Raid Battle Den in Bridge Field or South Lake Miloch and hope that you find a giant Combee.

To get a Vespiquen you will need a female Combee, a great way to find out the gender of Combee is to look for the red mark on its bottom head. Only female Combees have them.

How to Get Vespiquen in Pokemon Sword and Shield

To get a Vespiquen you will require a female Combee, if you have one then the majority of your work is done. All you have to do now is raise it till level 21 and it will evolve by itself.

If you do not, however, have a female Combee, you will require to get one from the Rolling Fields, or better yet simply catch one over there.

This is all there is to know about how to get a female Combee and evolve it into Vespiquen in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Do check our other Pokemon Sword and Shield Wiki Guides for more Tricks and Tweaks.
