Hades 2: How To Get Deathcap

Published Date :

Deathcap in Hades 2 is one of the most hard-to-come-by resources across all the Underworld Greek lands. You need this resource to craft various Incantations at the large green boiling pot, otherwise known as the Cauldron. Unlike other plants or Greeneries, a Deathcap has certain weather conditions under which it is available. This indeed makes the quest to find the plant more challenging. Fortunately, this guide can ease up your quest by helping you find the Deathcap.

Where to Find the Deathcap in Hades 2

Deathcap can be found while exploring the Erebus biome in Hades 2. It is the very first biome in the game which means you can get your hands on the plant earlier. However, you should know that a Deathcap only appears when it is raining. So whenever you are in the Erebus and it’s raining, you can explore the region to farm it. Also, you can always start over and look for the Deathcap in Erebus. If you are lucky, you can start with a run where it’s raining already.

Note: You can look for Deathcap in regions other than Erebus as well. But the chances of obtaining it from there will be relatively lower. Besides this, Deathcap can also be purchased from various vendors like Narcissus in Oceanus.

One good thing about Deathcap in Hades 2 is that you can collect it without using a Harvesting Tool. Whenever and wherever you see it, you can use your bare hands to pick it up. Coming down to its uses, Deathcap can be used to craft Incantations, but indirectly. Actually, it is used as a currency to specifically obtain Bones from Wretched Broker. Then, the Bones are used as a direct ingredient for crafting various Incantations like Summoning of the Mercantile Fortune, Kinship Fortune, etc.

With that said, ensure you collect plenty of Deathcap in Hades 2 and make proper use of it. If it helped you then be sure to check out our other guides on Shadows and Bronze Nodes. We have covered plenty of such content to help you stay alive in the game.
