How To Farm Silk In Smalland: Survive The Wilds
Firstly, you will need Flint Shears in order to get silk in Smalland. If you haven’t already got it, you should still be able to craft it at the Stonecutter. To craft Flint Shears you will need the following items:
- Fiber – 5x
- Resin – 5x
- Flint – 8x
- Refined Wood – 5x
As you may have already guessed, silk is obtained from spiders in Smalland. Head over to the northwestern part of the map in an area near the NPC Lisandra. Here, you will see some hills and mountains around, head there and you will find an entrance to the caves. While there are locations where you may be able to find silk, these caves are a guaranteed spot to get it.
Head into these caves and try to find Spider Cocoons, they’re big egg-like things that are wrapped around in webs. Be prepared to fight off some spiders protecting their eggs. Once everything is clear you can use the Flint Shears to break the Spider Cocoons and get silk.
