With the new Summer update, players can expect a lot of new features to enjoy. You finally get the ability to swim and dive under water, catch sea creatures and meet Pascal who will give you mermaid-themed DIY recipes. Apart from all of these, there are also some Pearls in Animal Crossing New Horizons that you have to collect. During one of your dives underwater, you might just spot a pearl on the ocean floor. If you see a shadow that doesn’t move, it could be a pearl. Press Y to get your hands on it.
Sometimes, you can also get a Pearl from Pascal in return for the scallop that you give him. There is more of a chance to receive a DIY recipe from him, but if you are fortunate, you might get a pearl.

In case you want to sell a pearl, it will fetch you 10,000 Bells which makes it very valuable. But if you are short of Bells and have found a pearl, go ahead and sell it to make some money.
