How Does Crafting Work in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6?

Crafting Fortnite

To craft in Fortnite you need to pick up Makeshift Weapons and use the recipes available in the new Crafting menu. Here’s how to do this perfectly:

  • This means once you land on the battleground, start collecting weapons.
  • You need to find the new weapons with “Makeshift” in front of their name like Makeshift Rifle & Makeshift Shotgun.
  • Open your inventory menu and go to the new Crafting tab by pressing E in PC, RB & R1 in Xbox & PlayStation respectively.
  • Once you find such weapons, you will also receive new crafting schematic recipes.
  • From the Crafting Menu (tab), you can check these recipes.
  • From Makeshift Shotgun you can craft a Primal Shotgun by adding 4 Bones to your Makeshift Shotgun.
  • You can also create a Pump Shotgun by adding 4 Mechanical Parts to your Makeshift Shotgun.
  • From your Makeshift Rifle with Mechanical Parts, you can create an Assault Rifle.
  • Combine 4 Bones and 1 Makeshift Rifle to craft a Primal Rifle.
  • Once you have the required resources, you can simply click the Craft button inside the Craft Menu.
  • Now your character will pull their hammer out and Voilà!, here’s your desired weapon in your hand.
  • If you are wondering about the resources, then Mechanical Parts can be collected from any mechanical machines even vehicles also. Just keep smashing them with your melee weapons.
  • And to collect bones you need to hunt the animals like chickens. Shoot them to collect their drops like meat and bones. You will need to collect 4 bones for each crafting recipes mentioned above.

That’s all you need to know about how to craft in Fortnite. While you are here, don’t forget to check out how to other Fortnite Guides as well.
