If you are diving into the series once again, you will be glad to know that you will get an improved handling experience of the Mako tank. If you prefer the old way for nostalgia and prefer the old handling, you can keep the classic Mako controls. To do this, you have to look for Mako Camera-Relative Steering under Controls on PC only as of now. Toggle it to get the classic controls.
It seems like this option to disable is not available for Xbox (One, Series X | S) and PlayStation (PS4, PS5) players yet. We’ve looked everywhere and so have a lot of Reddit users. It’s possible that it will be added in an upcoming update.
