The Void Angler is a Mythical fish that can be caught at a new location in Fisch. Despite being Mythical, it is one of the easier creatures to catch even with a decent rod. Spending time farming this fish is one of the best ways to boost XP and earn a lot of in-game cash fast, especially if you have a rod with high lure speed. Get all the details about the Void Angler below.
How to Get the Void Angler
To catch the Mythical Void Angler, head to Atlantean Storm, which is a location near the Forsaken Shores, right next to the Grand Reef. Make your way to the Forsaken Shores island, and you will see another island in the distance with a dark storm cloud above it. If you check the side, you will see some whirlpools which is the exact location of the Atlantean Storm (GPS coordinates: X: -3838, Y: 138, Z: 420).
Start fishing there with the Truffle Worm bait at any time, weather or season and you should be able to get the Void Angler in Fisch. Any good mid to late-game rod will work, however, note that its size can go up to 3000+ Kg. An enchanted Steady Rod, Arctic Rod, Rod of the Depths, No Life rod or any of your preferred rods will work well. Remember that you will see a -75% Progress Speed inflicted, so choose a rod with good Resilience and/or Control.
Upon hooking it, you will see a pink exclamation mark above your character’s head and if you’re lucky and reel it in, it might even be a mutated version.
That’s everything you need to know to catch the Void Angler. There are many more fish to catch in this location, so here are the best baits, weather, season and times to get them and 100% complete the Atlantean Storm’s bestiary.
