How to Get The Whispering One in Fisch
To participate in the event and get to the Cults Curse room, players must locate Brother Silas, an NPC situated at coordinates X: 340, Y: 135, Z: 345. He should be easy to spot because he is near the Moosewood’s docks where the event NPCs usually stand.
Interacting with Brother Silas transports players to the Cults Curse room where they can fish in the Cursed Pool. However, make sure to claim your rewards because the pool will be locked before that.
Unlock the exclusive pool and you’re ready to fish in the bright green water.
When attempting to catch The Whispering One, any bait can be used, and there are no specific requirements regarding time, weather, or season.
Note that catching it isn’t going to be easy with a weaker rod because it inflicts a progress speed decrease of -95%. Go for the best luck-based rod you have with an added boost of high Resilience. Using the Legendary Deep Coral bait (50 Resilience, -10 Preferred Luck) might be useful for this purpose. You can also try the Garbage bait which provides 50 Resilience but also has -250 Universal Luck and -5 Lure Speed which can be a problem.
Once you hook it, you’ll see a blue exclamation mark accompanied by a bell sound—a notable feature of limited fish in the game.
The best part is that it provides an average of around 10,000C$ after selling, making it one of the best fish to farm for money. Moreover, its base XP of 6400 comes in handy to level up as well.
Once you’re done, you can exit the Cults Curse room by touching the door here, which will take you back to Moosewood.
