The Kittyfish is a limited-edition fish in Fisch. Introduced during the Animal Event in the Second Sea’s Animal Pool, this unique creature combines cat and fish characteristics, making it a special catch for players. As you’d expect, it has a cat-like face with whiskers, however, its body looks like a typical fish. Thankfully, with the right bait and conditions, you can catch it easily. Here’s what you need to know about it.
Where to Find Kittyfish in Fisch
The Kittyfish is exclusively available during the Animal Event within the Animal Pool of the Second Sea. Players can find this fish in Clear weather conditions, especially in the Summer season.
To successfully catch a Kittyfish, it’s best to use Fish Head as bait, which is its preferred choice. This bait can be obtained from bait crates, quality bait crates as well as rewards from the Angler quests.
While most fish inflict a negative progress speed, this one increases the player’s progress speed by 10% during the catch, making it a relatively easy target compared to other catches This helps both new and experienced Fischers to add the Kittyfish to their collection without any difficulty.
The Kittyfish varies in size, with weights ranging from around 4 kg to even 44 kg. In terms of C$, the Kittyfish is valued at approximately 14 C$ per KG, leading to an average total value of around 180 C$. Plus, successfully catching a Kittyfish rewards players with 650 base XP, which isn’t great but will add to the overall progression.
If you’re lucky, you can even get a mutated version of the fish, leading to even better rewards.
