How to Add Friends on Apex Legends Xbox to PS4

Updated Date :

Apex Legends is a game that is best enjoyed with friends, no matter their skill level. It’s always fun to play with your friends and wreak havoc in this battle royale. If you want to know how to add friends on Apex Legends then this guide will tell you all about it.

How to Add and Play With Friends on Apex Legends

Can you crossplay on Apex Legends? Unfortunately, there is no option to add friends from one console to another as of the time of writing. Respawn Entertainment is aware of the high-demand for cross-platform support but it hasn’t been implemented yet.

So, for now, you can only play with others on the same service as you. This is a far cry from Fortnite, which has implemented crossplay and done it very well. In Fortnite, players with mobile devices can play with PC gamers as well as console gamers. This move has greatly benefited Fortnite and Apex Legends is expected to have this support by most fans. Some rumors say that Respawn has started working on it, but there is no official confirmation about the same.

A lot of players, though, have multiple consoles. So if you own a Xbox One, it’s best to ask a friend if they have an Xbox One as well (or PS4 if you have that). Here’s how you can add friends in Apex Legends on Xbox and PS4.

How to Add Friends in Apex Legends Xbox One

  • When you start the game, you will see your character in the lobby.
  • Now press the R button on the controller.
  • It will open up your friends list from where you can easily add friends to Apex Legends.
  • Press A to invite your friends.
  • Make sure that they have registered already and are online.
  • If they are not on the list, go to People > Find Someone and type the player’s gamertag.
  • Then, Add Friend and Submit.
  • Once your friend accepts the request, that friend will show up on the Friends Page.

How to Add Friends in Apex Legends PS4

The process is fairly simple. Just do the following:

  • Search for your friends’ PSN ID on PS4.
  • Add them.
  • Once you have added them, they will be visible on the Friends Page.

So there you have it. Meanwhile, let’s wait for Respawn Entertainment to add the crossplay option in the future.
