The Cargobob, which partly resembles the Boeing CH-47 Chinook, is one memorable chopper which was added to GTA 5. Cargobob Location in GTA 5 Online
The best place where you can find a Cargobob in GTA Online is at Los Santos Naval Port on Elysian Island. It is also called the Merryweather HQ and is located at the southernmost tip of the map, just east of the Los Santos International Airport. However, you must keep in mind that you need to cross at least Rank 22 in order for it to spawn.
Once you reach the Port, you will come across many Merryweather guards on patrol. But don’t worry, as they won’t attack you unless you engage first. Quietly drive through the warehouse until you reach the end of the dock.
Here, you will most likely be able to see a Cargobob on the Helipad. Since this is not a 100% spawn location, there are chances that you may not find it. If that happens, drive far away from the Naval Port and come back after a short while. Keep repeating it until a Cargobob spawns.
After finding the chopper, hop in and fly away quickly. You should be wary as the Merryweather force will now be hostile and will damage the helicopter. Escape fast to ensure you have a full health Cargobob at your disposal.
