Can you Dive in Hogwarts Legacy?

underwater treasure loot

The short answer is yes. You can dive in Hogwarts Legacy, but it is only at a few specific spots. During the Lost Astrolabe quest for example, diving underwater is a part of the quest. However, apart from quests, you can also go underwater to get your hands on some valuable loot.

All that you need to do is jump in the lake and swim towards a spot with swirling waters. Once you’re close enough, interact with it. You will be able to search for loot or even be transported to another location altogether.

One of the best ways to look for the swirling water is by flying across the lake on your broom. After knowing the various spots, you can get off your broom and swim faster towards it by pressing the L3 toggle stick on your controller. These magic underwater locations can be quite useful to you if you are searching for certain items.
