No doubt why Fortnite is one of the most popular Battle Royale games of all time. Throughout the years, developers have given their level best to introduce the game with new and interesting updates. May it be a  collaboration with another franchise or some new in-game element, it was always well received by the audience. As Chapter 4 has begun, we got to see another major update making the gameplay more competitive. There’s a new location mechanic known as Hot Spots introduced in Fortnite that is now a hot topic as well. If you are wondering about this new mechanic, then this guide is everything you need. What are Hot Spots?

Hot Spots in Fortnite are certain locations wherein you will get high-quality loot. Consider this area as a PoI (Point of Interest) wherein multiple players will land to fight for the loot.

How to find Hot Spots in Fortnite

As we already know, you can see the names of the regions on the map. While the names of normal regions are written in white font, the name of the Hot Spots region will be written in golden font. Hence, to find a Hot Spot in Fortnite, make sure to look for regions with their names written in a golden font on Fortnite’s map.

Moreover, if an area is unexplored, you will see three gold-colored question marks (???) above it. So make sure to explore the entire map to find a Hot Spot in Fortnite. Also, there will be a total of 3 Hot Spots on the map which will change randomly after every game.

Once you have landed on a Hot Spot, destroy the drones flying in the air. The drones drop loots one destroyed.
