Nevertheless, this guide has you covered on replying to the Troll with its own language.

How to Hit Troll With Own Boulder in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy Counter Troll with Own Boulder

The boulders are the only attacks that you can block with Protego. The other troll attacks cannot be blocked. If you want to hit the Troll with its own Boulder in Hogwarts Legacy, then you need to use Protego, and as soon as the shield disappears, hit R1. Make sure that when the boulder is launched by the enemy, you are facing them head-on. Otherwise, you won’t be able to throw it back.

As we said, there is an element of timing in this and you need to press R1 as soon as the shield disappears. A little early or a little late and the entire move will fail and you won’t complete the Dueling Feat.

Of course, you will have to dodge the charged attacks since they are not blockable and will leave you with heavy damage. Simply roll over and you can wait for your opportunity to counter the boulder thrown at you.

That’s all there is on how to hit the Troll with its own boulder in Hogwarts Legacy. While you are here, make sure you check out other Hogwarts Legacy guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
