As you progress in the game, you’ll unlock the potting stations at the Herbology Class and the Room of Requirement. But, you’ll have to wait for the plants to fully grow before harvesting them. So if you don’t want to buy it every time, you can invest 1000 Galleons and buy yourself a Dung Composter at Tomes and Scrolls. Once installed, the Dung Composter will produce a unit of Fertilizer per five minutes.
