The Echo Frog is a Mythical-tier pet introduced during the Lunar Glow Event 2025 in Grow a Garden. Known for its unique ability to accelerate plant growth, the Echo Frog is a valuable addition for players aiming to boost their garden. Here’s what you need to know about this pet.
Echo Frog in Grow a Garden
- Rarity Tier: Mythical
- Egg Source: Night Egg
- Hatch Chance: 10%
- Date Added: May 10, 2025
The Night Egg is a limited-time egg added during the Lunar Glow Event 2025 (which runs from May 10 to May 23, 2025) in Grow a Garden.
Players can get it through two methods:
- Earning Lunar Points: By harvesting Moonlit mutated plants and giving them to the Wise Old Owl NPC, you can collect Lunar Points. Reaching specific milestones rewards players with Night Eggs.
- Purchasing with Robux: Night Eggs can also be bought directly using Robux. The pricing is as follows: one egg for 199 Robux, three eggs for 575 Robux, and ten eggs for 1,699 Robux.
Each Night Egg takes approximately 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch and contains a variety of pets, including the Echo Frog, Night Owl, and Raccoon, each with its own rarity and unique abilities.

To have a better chance of obtaining these pets, players need to actively play the game during this period. And if you’ve got your sights on an Echo Frog, here’s what you need to know:
Every 15 minutes, the Echo Frog croaks, causing a random nearby plant to advance its growth by 24 hours. Visually, it has a bright blue body with darker blue markings on its nose and mouth. Its eyes are black, and its skin is dotted with glowing neon blue spots.
Advantages:
- Accelerated Plant Growth: Significantly reduces the time required for plant growth. This is ideal for players who are relatively new to the game, or if you keep harvesting plants often.
- Event Exclusive: It’s a unique pet available only during the Lunar Glow Event, making it a rare addition.
Disadvantages:
- Low Hatch Rate: With a 10% chance, obtaining the Echo Frog can be challenging.
- Long Ability Cooldown: The passive ability activates every 15 minutes, which may be too slow for some players.
- High Hunger Requirement: The Echo Frog has a substantial hunger bar, requiring more resources to maintain.
While the Echo Frog in Grow a Garden is far from the best pet, if quicker plant growth is something you need, then it’s a great addition to your plot of land. With that done, be sure to also check out how to get the Mole pet and what it does for your garden.
