Rocket League: How To Grab Someone In Knockout Gamemode

The Rocket League Knockout bash is the new hit in the Rocket League game modes. In this mode, 8 players end up in an area with no ball or goalpost but hindrances and challenges, and only the last one standing is the winner. Players need to eliminate the other players by kicking them out of the zone. You can use the attack, block, dodge, grab, and throw features to move the player out of the safe zone. This guide will help you learn how to grab someone in knockout Rocket League game mode.

How To Grab Someone In Rocket League Knockout

Below are the controls for all the platforms including PC, PS, Xbox, and Switch to Grab someone on in Knockout Rocket League.

PC

On your PC to grab your opponent, in Rocket League,

  • Get near the opponent and Press and hold the Left shift button, then press the jump button (mouse right-click) while going towards the opponent.

To throw the opponent, press the jump button (mouse right-click) again.

PlayStation 4 & 5

While playing Rocket League mode on Sony PlayStation, to grab someone in Knockout Bash,

  • First, go near the enemy and press and hold the L2 button, then press the jump/dodge (X) button to jump toward the enemy in the required direction.

To release the enemy, press the jump/dodge (X) again.

Xbox

On Xbox to grab,

  • Press and hold the grab LT button while dodging/jumping (A) to grab the opponent.

Further, press the dodge/jump (A) again to throw the opponent.

Nintendo Switch

To grab in Rocket League while playing on Switch,

  • First, press and hold the LT key on the switch and press the jump/dodge (B) key to jump toward the enemy.

To throw the enemy, press the jump key (B) again.

You can speed-flip, dodge, block, or use other strategic moves to make it difficult for your opponent to catch and use these grab tactics on you.
