Google Stadia 4K Streaming Requires 35 MBPS Internet Speed

Google Stadia coming on November and recently Google updated Stadia FAQ with lots of important details o multiplayer gaming, Stadia Controller, Android Mobile Compatibility, iOS devices support and lot more. Google promises upto 4K video streaming on its  Cloud streaming platform with a subscription-based fee to unlock free games and discounts. If you are trying to find out what internet speed is required to play games on Stadia then keep reading to find out the right bandwidth to stream games on 720p, 1080 and max 4K.

Google Stadia Internet Speed Requirement

  1. 10 MBPS to stream and play games on 720p at 60FPS & Stereo sound
  2. 20mbps to stream and play games on 1080p at 60fps & 5.1 surround sound
  3. 30 to 35mbps to stream and play games on 5K at 60fps & 5.1 surround sound

Whether you play games on a Laptop or a Mobile phone, Stadia demands a pretty decent internet speed a minimum 10mbps for stable connectivity to get a minimum of 720p at 60fps. This is where cloud gaming gets a little bit restricted.

Microsoft is quiet on Project xCloud and as per its blog, the engineers are trying to reduce latency by delivering high performance over the 5G network. This does not mean the Google Stadia is not going to work well, the high-internet requirement will be mostly for AAA titles, but there are many other games including Indie Games that do not demand high bandwidth.

More info will be revealed on Google Stadia in the month of November this year, the first game on Stadia is Destiny 2: The Collection. With this Google promises to bring a ton of amazing titles on Stadia. Some form the list is below.
