The way it works is Glowing Statues are always near a Giant enemy. If you see a Glowing Statue, know that there is a Giant enemy nearby. This is not a warning, these enemies are the only ones who can break open a Glowing Statue in Elden Ring. All you have to do is get the Enemy’s attention and make them strike you while near or on top of the Glowing Statue. This will break it. Enemies that can do this are:
- Trolls
- Golems
- Lesser Runebears
- Giant Crabs
- Dragons
Lure them near the Glowing Statue and watch them crumble it. After that either defeat the Enemy or run around them and loot the Statue for the Smithing Stones.
