Glowing Statues in Elden Ring are figures of Maiden that have a big crack on their Torso where a Light Shines through. Hence why they are called Glowing Statues. As you have noticed, interacting with them by getting close or striking with a weapon does nothing. Most players would leave it because they couldn’t figure out what to do with them, that’s where this guide comes into the picture. In this guide, I will show you how to Break the Glowing Statue in Elden Ring.
How to Break a Glowing Statue in Elden Ring
As mentioned above, a Glowing Statue in Elden Ring is a big statue of a Maiden that is lodged in the ground. Any action performed by the player does not affect these Statues. As such many would turn away from them. But there is a way to interact with them. Once you break them, you will be able to loot the various types of Smithing Stones from them. That is reason enough to at least try to open them. And opening them is an easy task as long as you can survive.
The way it works is Glowing Statues are always near a Giant enemy. If you see a Glowing Statue, know that there is a Giant enemy nearby. This is not a warning, these enemies are the only ones who can break open a Glowing Statue in Elden Ring. All you have to do is get the Enemy’s attention and make them strike you while near or on top of the Glowing Statue. This will break it. Enemies that can do this are:
- Trolls
- Golems
- Lesser Runebears
- Giant Crabs
- Dragons
Lure them near the Glowing Statue and watch them crumble it. After that either defeat the Enemy or run around them and loot the Statue for the Smithing Stones. This was everything you should know about the Glowing Statue in Elden Ring. Hopefully, this guide has helped you. You can also check our other guides like Let Me Solo Her Meme Explained in Elden Ring.
