What are Gilded Items in Minecraft Dungeons DLC
The new Flames of the Nether DLC adds Gilded Items for Minecraft Dungeons. These Gilded items are more powerful than the normal versions. They can be identified by their gold background tiles. These items provide some benefits over their regular counterparts.
These new Gilded Items come attached with a new attachment. This attachment is applied to the weapon, armor, or item itself. For example, in the above image, you can see that there is an Increase Maximum souls attachment added.
How to get Gilded Items in the Nether DLC
These items are received as part of drops while playing through the new Ancient Hunt stage. You can even get them through the Piglin Merchant who is available in your camp. You can exchange gold with him for other Gilded Items.
While these Gilded Items do provide an upgrade over normal weapons and armor you do also have your normal weapons. As such you can decide to trade in some of them to get some gold that you can use in the game. You can trade in some Gilded items to get gold in exchange.
