What Are The Destiny 2 Awoken Mementos & How To Get Them?

Published Date :

If you are into Destiny 2: Lightfall, you might be looking for the Wish Ender Exotic Bow, one of the best ones in the game. However, if you need the bow, you will have to complete the Hunter’s Remembrance quest and purify three Awoken Mementos in Destiny 2. This involves defeating some high-tier enemies so be prepared.

Keep in mind, that unless you have the Forsaken DLC, you won’t be able to complete the requirements of the quest. The quest will take you to the Shattered Throne Dungeon and the Dreaming City, a part of the DLC. The game is not clear on most instructions and this is not entirely new for Destiny 2 players. So, if you are wondering how to use the Awoken Mementos, this guide is all you will need.

To get the Awoken Mementos in Destiny 2, players will have to trigger the Hunter’s Remembrance quest from the tower kiosk and then head to the Dreaming City. You are looking for a character named Petra Venj and once players interact with them, a dialogue will appear. She will end up giving you the Awoken Mementos and ask you to purify them. Note that this item goes into your Kinetic Weapons slot so make sure you have one empty.

Once you have the Awoken Mementos in your inventory, the quest will update and show you what to do. Players will be able to see the Taken Minotaur, Taken Captain, and Taken Ogre. Summoning and defeating these enemies in the Shattered Throne Dungeon is what players need to do now. Upon defeating them, the Mementos will be purified and players can approach the statue at the end of the dungeon and get the Wish Ender Exotic Bow.
