One of the easiest resources that you can get early on is Silver in Hades 2. While it may start appearing after your first few runs and spawn quite frequently, you do need to carry the right tool if you want to extract it. It isn’t like Ash, Psyche, Boons, or other resources like flowers and mushrooms that you can simply walk up to and pick up. You need the Crescent Pick for it. So here is how you can not only unlock this pick, but also how you can farm Silver nodes, and the things you can use it for.
How to Farm Silver in Hades 2
You need to mine Silver Nodes that randomly spawn in areas as you progress with your Crescent Pick. During your runs collect Ash, select the room with it as your reward for an encounter and typically you will get +5 Ash from it. You can also buy it using Bones and other methods.
- In the weapon room of the Crossroads, forge the Crescent Pick tool for 1x Ash.
- Next, equip it.
- Now, continue making your way down to the Underworld.
- There is a random chance that a room will have a Silver node.
- You can mine it as soon as you enter or after clearing all the enemies. Depending on your health you can choose to go either route. Press R1 or RB for it.
- Each node can be mined thrice, which means you get 3x Silver per node.
- There is a chance that more nodes may spawn as you play but that is based on your luck.
To make sure you don’t miss out on it you can even Concoct Reagant Sensing incantation at the cauldron in the Crossroads. Aside from that you also have a chance to get Silver as a gift from Narcissus. You can find him in one of the chambers in Oceanus.
How to Use Silver in Hades 2
Silver is a resource that you can mainly use for unlocking your weapons. But it is also needed in some Incantations and later on to unlock the aspects of these weapons. In the early game, you need it to unlock:
- Sister Blades: Silver x1
- Umbral Flames: Silver x3 and Cinder x3
- Moonstone Axe: Silver x15
That is all for how you can get Silver in Hades 2 and its uses. If you are looking to farm other resources also check out our guides on how to get Shadows, Bronze, and Lotus.
