Much like Oxen and Horses, having Sheep in Manor Lords is important for your settlement. While the former animals help transport and trade, the latter is important for producing Wool. It’s a no-brainer that this material is needed to make clothes. And as the population grows, you will need a constant supply of Wool to meet your people’s expectations. However, the game makes it crystal clear that you must find your way for everything. Obtaining the Sheep makes no difference.
So, to help you farm Sheep in Manor Lords, we have created this guide. It will give you a better idea of why you should invest in Agriculture, too.
How to Get Sheep in Manor Lords
To obtain Sheep, you must go through a process in Manor Lords. This includes building some structures to accommodate the livestock. So, without any further ado, you should build a Livestock Trading Post for 2 Timbers. Using this structure, you can import (or export) Sheep, Lambs, and other livestock animals to your farm. Make sure you have some funds because you must spend 30 Regional Wealth for each Sheep you import.
Note: You can import Sheep in Manor Lords by going to the Trade section in Livestock Trading Post. From there, you can decide how many Sheep you want in your stock all the time.
Once you have the Livestock Trading Post, you should immediately build a Pasture too. Depending on the size of this structure, you can accommodate sheep in it. It is usually recommended to build a large Pasture to avoid any trouble in the future.
How to Get Wool from Sheep
Now that you have Sheep in Manor Lords, your next goal should be making use of them. This means you must shear the Sheep and obtain Wool to create Yarn and, eventually, some Clothes from it. The first action of this process includes building a Sheep Farm. Once you have it on your farm, you can assign people who can shear Sheep for Wool. I recommend building Sheep Farm next to the Pasture so the assigned workers don’t have any difficulty carrying them.
As the workers keep on obtaining Wool in the Sheep Farm, you can construct a Weaver Workshop nearby. If you have more people to employ, you can assign them to the Weaver Workshop so they can process Wool into Yarn. Fortunately, if you have a marketplace, one of the workers from the Weaver Workshop will set up a Clothes Stall there. By doing this, you will fulfill one of the requirements to level up your Burgage Plot.
Once you have everything set for you, I suggest building a Tailor’s Workshop. For those who don’t know, it is a Burgage Plot Backyard Extension that requires you to have Burgage Level 2. So from a Tailor’s Workshop, you can create Cloaks using the Yarn. It is a good alternative for Clothes that keep your people well dressed and satisfied.
So you see, farming Sheep in Manor Lords can truly contribute a lot to your Regional Wealth. Want to learn more about this game? Feel free to access our dedicated section for Manor Lords on Gamer Tweak. We have and we will be adding helpful guides there so you all can progress smoothly.
