Skull and Bones allows you to deal in two different currencies which are Silver and Pieces of Eight. While the first one is pretty easy to get, you will have to grind to get the latter one. Moreover, if you are looking to fill your quiver with rare weapons and gear, Pieces of Eight is what you will need in abundance.
In this guide, I will explain how you can get your hands on Pieces of Eight in Skull and Bones. So if you are in dire need of this currency, this is how you can amass a lot of them.
Best Ways to Get Pieces of Eight in Skull and Bones
You can get plenty of Pieces of Eight by fulfilling the deals on the Order Registry. For those who are not aware of it yet, the Order Registry is a part of the Helm which is located inside your Smuggler’s Hideout. You will unlock the Hideout while following Spurluck’s storyline. It can be found at the Le Mont Muet in Sainte-Anne and you can visit there anytime you want.
On your Order Registry, you can see all the received orders and the amount of Pieces of Eight you can get from them. The orders usually contain tasks like delivering Helm Ware like Opium and White Skull Rum. If you have accepted an offer, then your job is to successfully make Helm Wares through Helm Materials like Sugar Cane. This process can be done at the Distillery which is also found at the Helm.
Delivering the produced Helm Ware to the customer will reward you with precious Pieces of Eight in Skull and Bones. However, beware of other Pirates lurking on the surface of the Ocean. They can attack and destroy your ship before you can deliver the parcel. Also, it is worth noting that Fast Traveling is off while delivering, so the risk is real.
So, by completing the tasks on the Order Registry, you can earn yourself a good amount of Pieces of Eight. Other than this, you can also complete Hostile Takeovers and Legendary Heists to get this currency. However, you will have to reach at least the mid-game phase before being able to do that. So for now, I would suggest you do Helm Missions like Roving Order to earn Pieces of Eight in Skull and Bones.
