While Quest Items will be in plenty, players are confused on how to get the Noblestalk Mushroom in Baldur’s Gate 3. Since there is only one Noblestalk Mushroom in the whole game, it might also be baffling how to use it. Players will have to head to a field full of Bibberbang and save Baelen Bonecloak before they can continue the quest and get the Noblestalk Mushroom in BG3. How to Save Baelen Bonecloak in Baldur’s Gate 3
During the Find the Mushroom Picker quest, players will come in contact with a dwarf known as Derryth Bonecloak in the Mychonid colony who will ask if you have seen her husband, Baelen. If you want the Noblestalk Mushroom in BG3, it’s best for you to save Baelen Bonecloak first. Once players head to the northwestern corner of the Underdark, they will find themselves in the Bibberbang field and will be able to spot Baelen Bonecloak. Now, here’s how players can save Baelen Bonecloak and get the Noblestalk Mushroom in Baldur’s Gate 3.
- Use the Enhance Leap and jump towards the top of the field in a clearing. Players will find Baelen’s Pack that also contains the Misty Step scroll.
- Either Leap towards Baelen or pass a Strength roll and throw it towards him. This should save Baelen Bonecloak in BG3 and you will soon have a dialogue option with this character.
How to Get Noblestalk Mushroom in Baldur’s Gate 3
Now, that you have saved Baelen Bonecloak, you can shift your focus and get the Noblestalk Mushroom in BG3. After the dialogues, wait for him to leave and then head back for the Noblestalk Mushroom. There are a few ways to get the Noblestalk Mushroom in Baldur’s Gate 3 –
- Use the Misty Step and get the Noblestalk Mushroom before it explodes.
- Use the Enhance Leap and jump right next to the Mushroom and collect it before it explodes.
- Throw water on the torch at the far end and extinguish it. After that, consume an Elixir of Poison Resistance and walk right up to the Noblestalk Mushroom and take it in BG3 (Bibberbang won’t affect you).
Once you have the Noblestalk Mushroom, you will have the choice of giving it to Baelen Bonecloak, Derryth Bonecloak, Shadowheart, or a Dark Urge character and get a piece of the story. - Baelen Bonecloak – The Mushroom will cure him and he will return to his old self which to Derryth is a nightmare.
- Derryth Bonecloak – She is thankful and players will get to meet her in the city of Baldur’s Gate.
- Shadowheart – Giving the Noblestalk Mushroom to Shadowheart will bring back some of her memories of a Tiefling Woman that you get to meet at one point in Act 3 of BG3.
- Dark Urge – This will begin to restore some lost memories.
