There will be several quests in Hogwarts Legacy both inside and outside the university. It has a huge open-world map that will take you hours of time to explore. Luckily, there are Mounts (tamable animals) that can be used to travel quickly. Sounds interesting right? List of All Mounts in Hogwarts Legacy
Here are all 3 mounts available in Hogwarts Legacy:
- Hippogriff
- Thestral
- Graphorn
Let’s look at how to get each one of these Mounts, in bit more detail below.
How to get Hippogriff Mount
Popularized by the name Buckbeak, a Hippogriff is a legendary Mount. Those who have pre-ordered Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy will get the Onyx Hippogriff Mount. Another way to unlock the Hippogriff Mount is by completing The High Keep main story quest. During this quest, you will have to free Highwing (Female Hippogriff) along with another Hippogriff. Defeat the Poachers and complete The High Keep Quest to finally unlock the Highwing Mount in Hogwarts Legacy.
Besides this, the normal variants of Hippogriffs can be rescued from Hippogriff Dens. You can find these Dens in the northeastern side of Feldcroft Village and South Sea Bog. You need to sneakily rescue the Hippogriff Mount and send them to Vivarium at Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Get Thestral Mount
It is an exclusive Mount that comes as a part of the Dark Arts Pack. Those who have pre-ordered Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy will get the Dark Arts Pack and eventually, the Thestral Mount. Whereas, you can also unlock the Thestral Mount permanently by rescuing them from the Thestral Dens.
You can find the Thestral Dens in Eastern North Ford Bog & Eastern North Ford Bog. Once they are rescued, you can find them back in Vivarium at Room of Requirement.
How to Graphorn Mount
Last but not the least, the Graphorn Mount becomes available after completing San Bakar’s Trial. In this quest, you will have to defeat the Graphorn (Lord of the Shore) to unlock it as a ridable Mount.
Apart from this, you can unlock the Graphorn Mount by rescuing them from Graphorn Dens found in Southern Calgmar Coast in Hogwarts Legacy. Upon rescuing the Graphorn, they will be available to interact inside the Vivarium.
