How to Get Medals & What They Do in Fortnite Chapter 2

Published Date :

Chapter 2 of Fornite bring a great ton of new content to the game, one of this new feature is the introduction of medals which help you level up quicker. This guide will show you how to get medals and what they do in Fortnite Chapter 2.

How to Get Medals & What They Do in Fortnite Chapter 2

The daily missions and other challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2 reward players with medals now for completing them, you no longer have to unlock battle stars and medals have replaced them.

You get the chance to unlock about 10 medals each day and they too have a tier system that begins at bronze and goes up to silver and gold depending on how good you perform in matches.

All you need to do to unlock matches is simply play through the entire game and remain the last player to survive, defeating everyone else. This sounds easy, but if you have ever played Fortnite you must know how difficult it can be.

Everything you do in the game rewards you with a medal, for example opening certain amounts of chests will award you a medal or getting a certain amount of eliminations and other things like this.

There are tons of ways you can earn medals in Fortnite Chapter 2 but you will still need to outlast opponents and get a good XP to level up.

Once you get all the medals you can get in a day, you can work on improving the tier of the medals by replaying and trying to get a better one, by improving your in-game actions.

The medals reset each day, which means that you get to do this all over the next day and get additional XP and another chance of improving your score.

All in all, this looks like a buffet of XP that the developers of Fortnite are giving away to players in order for them to stay longer in the game and come back again the next day.
