COD Warzone 2: How To Get Loadout (Explained)

Here's a detailed guide on how to get loadout in the new Warzone 2.

The highly anticipated COD Battle Royale has launched and players have started the grind. Warzone 2.0 is released as a free-to-play game with all the new mechanics from Modern Warfare 2. That means there will be significant changes to the game compared to its predecessor. One such change the players have noticed is the way you can get your loadout. Loadout was a major part of the original Warzone where you can use your pre-built weapons and your optimal perks. Warzone 2.0 will have loadout but acquiring them is tricky. In this guide, we will tell you how to get Warzone 2 Loadout as fast as possible.

How to Get Loadout in Warzone 2.0

Warzone 2 get Loadouts by clearing a Stronghold

In the original Warzone, you could buy your loadout at any Buy Station for $10,000. But, that’s not the case in Warzone 2. There are three ways to get your loadout in this game.

Clearing a Stronghold

When the first zone is about to close, three Strongholds will open up across the map. You can get Loadout in Warzone 2 by clearing a Stronghold infested with AI enemies. To clear the Stronghold, you will have to eliminate all the enemies or complete an objective in that structure. Along with the AI enemies, there will be other squads to look for as well. Similarly, you can attack a squad at the Stronghold and complete the objective to get the rewards. The first squad to clear a Stronghold will be rewarded with a Black Site key.

Clearing a Black Site

Once you get the Black Site key, open up your map and you will notice a Skull icon. Now, clearing a Black Site is a bit tough. You will face more AI enemies along with a heavily armored Juggernaut. Although the rewards for clearing a Black Site are worth it. Along with your loadout, you will also get a Weapon Blueprint and a Special UAV. So make sure you clear them if you have access.

World Loadout Drop in Warzone 2

The game will drop Loadout in the middle of the Al Mazrah map. That means you will be competing with everyone in the game for this drop. The number of times you can access this drop is limited. So the cons of going for this loadout drop heavily outweigh the pros. These loadouts are not assigned to any team so anyone can grab any loadout.

Now, the game has a “Shop” similar to the Buy Stations but you can just buy your loadout gun here. For $5,000, you will be able to buy your primary weapon. So it’s not a bad deal completely but you will be missing your perks.
