Just like the original Mario Kart 8, you can unlock and get the Gold Kart Parts in MK8 Deluxe and this time you can also get Gold Mario. Gold Mario is an alternate skin for Metal Mario, thus it doesn’t have any new stats. But what it does bring is bragging rights, because unlocking it isn’t easy. And this is not just limited to Gold Mario the Gold Parts are equally hard in their own way. So in this guide let us take a look at how to unlock & get Gold Mario and Kart Parts in MK8 Deluxe.
How to Get Gold Mario in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
You can get Gold Mario in this game by placing first in all 200cc cups. That is right you need the golden trophy in all of them if you want to get this skin. A good thing about this game is, that this mode comes unlocked. That is right you no longer need to complete every cup to unlock the 200cc. You can get straight to it as soon as you get the game.
How to Get Gold Kart Parts in MK8 Deluxe
There are 3 gold Kart parts that you can get in MK8 Deluxe.
- Standard Kart: Get at least a single star on every Cup for both 150cc and Mirror Mode in Grand Prix.
- Tires: Defeat all Staff Ghosts in Time Trial mode at 150cc.
- Glider: Collect a total of 5000 coins in the game. Getting the glider is tough but it is still easier than the original Mario Kart 8. In that game, you needed to collect 10000 Coins in order to get the Gold glider. The simple reason it is tough is that when playing Grand Prix you can get only 10 coins per track. That means if you want to unlock it by just playing Grand Prix you will have to play 500 tracks assuming you always collect 10 gold each time on them.
