Firewood in Manor Lords is a resource you can not avoid having at your settlement. Not only do you need it to fuel the industries, but it also keeps your citizens warm during the harsh winter. Having Fuel is as important as having Food. However, the game perplexes you about obtaining this item during the initial stages. By hook or crook, you genuinely need Firewood; in this guide, we will explain all the ways to get it.
How to Get Firewood in Manor Lords
To gather plenty of Firewood, you must place a Woodcutter’s Lodge anywhere near trees. Placing the Woodcutter’s Lodge in a forested area would be better. Building this structure requires only 1 Timber, making it very affordable in the initial stages. Once you have built it, you can assign a family to take it over. They will cut down trees and supply Firewood to the local storehouse (or warehouse) and marketplaces.
Once transported to a marketplace, citizens can purchase Firewood in Manor Lords depending on their needs. Some may need it for fueling Industries, while others may need it to keep their Burgage Plot warm. It should be noted that you can create a marketplace, too. But for that, you will have to assign a family to the storehouse. Assigned people will automatically create a marketplace where they will sell the Firewood that you supply to them.
Note: Aside from Firewood, Charcoal is another type of Fuel available in Manor Lords. It is much more efficient and can be created using a Charcoal Kiln. This structure can produce x2 Charcoal just by using one piece of Firewood.
Now that you know how to get Firewood in Manor Lords, ensure that your settlement stays warm and your Industries flourish.
