In God of War Ragnarok, there are many resources you can collect to craft armor for Kratos. If you have played the previous installment of this game, then you know the importance of good armor. Along with its gripping storyline, you can complete side quests to get the resources you need. One of the best Armor Sets in God of War Ragnarok is the Dragon Scaled Armor. The icing on the cake is that you will also be getting a Dragon Slayer trophy for completing the set. In this article, we will go over how you can craft this armor set.
How to Get Dragon Scaled Armor in God of War Ragnarok
Dragon Scaled Armor is a balanced armor set. It boosts both your attack and defense, making it one of the strongest armor sets in the game. However, it is not easy to obtain all the materials needed. To do so, head over to The Crater in Vanaheim where the dragons reside. Explore this area and you will find several dragon hunts. By taking part in these hunts, you will be tasked with slaying dragons, drakes, and drekis. Make sure you pick everything they drop after defeating them.
To sum it up, you will need 22 Dragon Tooth and 1 Dragon Claw to craft the whole Dragon Scaled Armor set. After collecting them, go to your crafting menu and craft the following:
- Dragon Scaled Breastplate – 2 Dragon Tooth and 1 Dragon Claw
- Dragon Scaled Bracers – 10 Dragon Tooth
- Dragon Scaled Girdle – 10 Dragon Tooth
As we mentioned before, as soon as you complete the set, you will receive the Dragon Slayer Trophy. You can also upgrade this already strong armor to level 9. Although slaying dragons, drakes, and drekis is no easy task, we recommend you do it for more Dragon Tooth and Claws. Dragon Scaled Armor Passive Abilities
If you want to know how the armor will help you fight enemies, here are the passive abilities of each armor piece. The Dragon Scaled Breastplate will buff your Strength and Defense for performing Blocks and Parries. However, taking damage will reset it. The Dragon Scaled Bracers will increase all shield damage. Along with that, Blocks and Parries will deal damage to nearby enemies. Finally, the Dragon Scaled Girdle has the same abilities as the Bracers.
