How to Remove Power Armor from Companion

While it is not difficult, the way to remove the Power Armor from a companion has not really been specified. Here’s what you need to do to get them out of the power armor:

  • Click the companion to talk or give command.
  • Talk with them to interact.
  • One of the options available will be to Exit Power Armor.
  • As you click on it, your companion will get out of the armor.

While wearing the Power Armor, the Relationship button will be replaced with the Exit Power Armor option. This as such does not change anything and once they de-equip the armor, you can simply use it yourself.

If you are unaware of what button on your console you need to use to Talk, you can simply stand near them and it will pop up under the Talk section.

Additionally, it is better to let your companion use the Power armor at least in the Commonwealth. This will only give you an advantage against the multitude of enemies present.

That’s all you need on how to get Companion out of Power Armor in Fallout 4. While you are here, make sure you check out our Fallout 4 guides, tips, and tricks with Gamer Tweak.
